ABOUT ME
Byron Prather started playing guitar and singing back in eighth grade and never really looked back. Growing up, Byron spent countless hours listening to classic rock — the Eagles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Kansas, and Elton John — music that still shapes his sound and approach today.
In high school, Byron honed his vocal skills singing in jazz choir, developing a strong sense of harmony and musicianship. About 15 years ago, he joined Creme Tangerine, a popular Seattle Beatles tribute band, which opened the door to years of live performance and collaboration.
Since then, Byron has been part of several bands, including Good Day Sunshine, Long Live Rock, Hip to be Square, Matchbox Twenty Too, and most recently Lifetime Rocker. Each project added another layer of experience and kept his passion for playing live music front and center.
After moving to Southern California seven years ago, Byron found a new home playing music at wineries and venues around Temecula. Today, he’s proud to be part of the popular Inland Empire band Lifetime Rocker, continuing to do what he loves most — playing great songs and connecting with audiences wherever the music takes him.

Good Day Sunshine is a dynamic five piece band from Seattle who together (all Crème Tangerine alumni) have performed the music of The Beatles for thousands each year. Rather than focusing on the personalities or look of The Beatles, Good Day Sunshine focuses on performing their beloved music live for all to enjoy.
